New Call Of Duty: Ghosts Trailer Looks Unashamedly Awesome

Call of Duty Ghosts

There’s much bad will towards *Call Of Duty*. Activision’s behemoth franchise has become the poster child for attracting the kind of stereotypical gamers that you’d rather leave under a rock, and while it may be true that navigating the dark corridors of its multiplayer mode could leave you hating gaming youth forever, the single player section is usually something to be savoured. It’s often criticised for being too short, shallow, bombastic and overly American – however, approach it like you would an 80’s Jean-Claude Van Damme movie, or chilli dog, and you’ll find yourself on a six hour thrill ride through multiple locations and ridiculous accents.

August: Osage County Trailer: Star Studded Cast But Selling The Wrong Movie

August Osage County

_August: Osage County_ is an award winning play. In fact in 2008 it won 5 Tony’s including the award for Best Play. It chronicles the interactions of a semi-estranged family in the wake of a death and funeral. The play –which I’ve seen– is amazing and knowing that it’s not surprising at all that they’ve managed to get so many stars, established and upcoming, on board. And now there’s a new trailer.

Escape From Tomorrow Trailer + Poster: WTF Am I About To Watch

Escape From Tomorrow

Escape From Tomorrow is a film that, by all accounts, shouldn’t exist. It was filmed on location at Disneyland but without the permission of Disney. That is, the cast and crew dressed as tourists and just went there and shot the movie. That takes some serious balls, and apparently they only narrowly avoided security at times.

The film itself is shot in black and white and concerns a man who goes slowly insane at Disneyland on the last day of a family vacation after being told he’s being fired from his job. Let’s take a look.

New Gravity Trailer Continues On The Theme of My Worst Nightmare

Gravity

Gravity is a movie about a disaster in space and feature striking visuals in director Alfonso Cuaron’s signature style of long takes. It looks absolutely terrifying.

**Note:** I watched the whole trailer and while I won’t go so far as to say it contains spoilers I believe I saw some flashes from the third act that, even out of context, I’m not sure I wanted to see in a trailer. So proceed with caution.

Dallas Buyers Club Trailer: Matthew McConaughey Is On A Streak

Matthew McConaughey Dallas Buyers Club

Matthew McConaughey is on a hot streak. He went through a patch of shitty movies there for a while but he’s been nothing less than great in every movie he’s done since last year. Looks like that streak is going to continue this year too, he’s already had a good turn in _Mud_ and looks like he might be great in _The Wolf of Wall Street_, and now he’s pulled a Christian Bale and lost all of his weight for Dallas Buyers Club in which he plays a cowboy diagnosed with HIV in the early days of the disease. Let’s check out the trailer.

The Monuments Men Trailer: George Clooney Saves History

Monuments Men

During World War II Europe was devastated and much of its history was in danger of being lost, destroyed at the hands of the Nazis. The Monuments, Fine Arts and Archives Program was an allied effort to save culturally important items before the Nazis could do that. George Clooney has directed a movie about that effort which looks pretty good. Let’s watch the trailer!
