They’ve remade Annie. They’ve stacked the movie with a talented cast but will it be any good? From this trailer? I dunno.
Let’s watch!
Things I like here include: updating the story to modern times (because a straight remake would be boring), the cast (because Quvenzhané Wallis is the perfect choice, and they set up all kinds of talented people around her), the fact that it’s still a musical (even though they don’t really show a lot of that here).
The film isn’t out until 19th December so be prepared to be bombarded with trailers and posters in the mean time.
