First Poster for ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies’ Features Dragon But No Hobbit

The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies

_The Hobbit: The desolation of Smaug_ was a long movie titled “The Hobbit” which didn’t feature much of the titular hobbit. If this poster is any indication the concluding film in the series will be much the same.

It’s an awesome poster though.

New ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Trailer Features New Ninja Rap! Also See The New Poster

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

There’s a new TV spot for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and it’s the first spot for this movie that makes me think I might like to see it! More importantly it features a new ninja rap. Unfortunately it’s not by Vanilla Ice like it was in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 back in the 1990s but it’s a nice little callback whether they meant it to be or not. Who knows maybe this song will embody the style of the 2010s in the same way Ninja Rap did the early 1990s?

Horns Teaser Trailer + Poster: Daniel Radcliffe Is A Bad Guy Maybe

Daniel Radcliffe / Horns

I really like Daniel Radcliffe because he refuses to be pigeonholed as Harry Potter for the rest of this life and keeps taking new roles in new genres, testing his limits and skill as an actor. Put succinctly: I don’t think we’re going to be rid of him any time soon. Horns is one of his new different weird projects in which he plays a guy who grows a pair of horns and is suspected of committing a grisly murder. Let’s watch!

Exodus: Gods and Kings Posters: Christian Bale + Joel Edgerton In Egyptian Fashion Ads

Exodus: Gods and Kings

Wow. These are Awful. I mean just look at the poster above. Awkward poses. Black with gold detail. Over the top makeup. These seriously look like the ads you see when you’re flipping through the first million pages of an issue of Vanity Fair looking for some actual content. That’s not a good thing, in case I wasn’t clear.

Setting aside, for now, the issue of Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton (English and Australian, respectively) being cast to play characters who in all likelihood weren’t white, they just look terrible. Also, I dunno if it’s the lack of hair, the makeup, or what, but I’ve seen several images of Joel Edgerton in this movie and didn’t recognize him until someone pointed out that it was him to me. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, but there it is. Hit the jump for two more posters.

Guardians of the Galaxy Extended Trailer

Guardians of the Galaxy

Here’s another trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy. This one is (slightly) longer and features more of the Guardians themselves rather than people talking about them plus if you don’t blink you’ll catch a glimpse of Michael Rooker as Yondu (who looks awesome) and hear a line from Lee Pace as Ronan The Accuser. Lots of characters in this movie have the name “The”. It’s a thing we’re going to have to get used to if the MCU keeps heading down the cosmic path.
