‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ has also been delayed, but at least there’s a new poster

Remember when I said that The Batman moving back to 2022 wasn’t going to be the last of that kind of story? I wasn’t kidding!

Dominion was previously scheduled for June 2021, and now it’s scheduled for June 2022. Director Colin Trevorrow announced the delay via Twitter, which I have embedded below, and he also included a new teaser poster.

It’s a cool poster, at least. The t-rex encased in amber is a nice callback, and I like how striking the colour contrast is. The callback makes sense, too, since current series stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are being joined in this one by original film stars Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Sam Neill.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Jurassic World, but I liked Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and I am a big fan of dinosaurs in movies overall, so I was actually pretty excited for Jurassic World: Dominion. I’m past the point of being bummed at this delay news, though. I’m feeling resigned. How are you all holding up?
