Heads up BC film lovers: VIFF Connect is now available

The Vancouver International Film Festival starts in just two days and now their new streaming platform, VIFF Connect, is available for you all.

Head to connect.viff.org to set up your account. You can buy passes to the festival or tickets to individual films, as well. Once you’re set-up, there are apps available for AppleTV, Roku, FireTV, and AndroidTV, or if you don’t have one of those, you can connect your computer to a TV with an HDMI cable or cast to an AirPlay or Chromecast enabled TV.

The downside to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic is that we’re not going to have a proper, in theatres festival, but the upside is that anyone in BC can now watch the films, so hopefully, more of us take advantage!

2020 VIFF Coverage Banner

Our coverage of the festival has already started; you can check out my most anticipated films of the festival in the video I made with Thomas from ForReel Movie News & Reviews, and film reviews and interviews coming up for the duration of the festival, Sept 24th through October 7th, at the VIFF 2020 tag right here on the site. We’re very excited that both Simon and I have been accredited this year!

The festival starts in two days! Join us!
