Star Wars: The Force-Feeding Continues

I’ve been told that New Star Wars will finally wake up on December 18th. To be honest I actually had to ask Awesome Friday’s Matt when it comes out because I have Star Wars blindness. I’ve been muting commercials, and dead-eye scrolling through twitter feeds for months now.

I don’t like Star Wars.  I’ve never liked Star Wars.  And now that it has become inescapable, I downright loathe it.

But… Am I the only one? Continue reading “Star Wars: The Force-Feeding Continues”

Marvel Announced Ant-Man Sequel, ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’, for 2018 + 3 New Movies for 2020

Paul Rudd + Evangeline Lily

Holy crap, Marvel has updated their film schedule again with a sequel to Ant-Man titled Ant-Man and The Wasp. This will be the second film with a heroine’s name in the title (Captain Marvel has been rescheduled, more on that in a moment) which is a good thing. This also makes 2017, 18, 19, and 20 all 3 Marvel movie years, which is nuts.

Hey Vancouver: VIFF is Happening!

2014 VIFF Festival_Header

Just a heads up, Vancouver! In case you’ve been living under a rock you know that the Vancouver International Film Festival is happening again right now! This will be my second year in attendance with a pass and I couldn’t be more excited. Stay tuned to this space over the next two weeks for reviews from the films I’m seeing.

There are a lot of interesting choices this year and you should make some time to see some of them. Lots of people work very hard to put this thing on, the least we can all do is attend! So head over to [the VIFF website](http://www.viff.org/) and plan a day to see a film or three. It’s good for you. Maybe I’ll see you there.

Zootopia Poster is full of Animal Puns

Zootopia

The direct of Zootopia, Byron Howard, has released the first poster for the movie. It seems to take place in a world with anthropomorphic animals. In a Disney movie. Weird, right? Is also seems like the primary industry in that world is pun manufacturing. Also weird for a Disney movie. There’s gotta be more to it, right? Some vast conspiracy.

We’ll find out just how deep this mystery runs next spring.

Kat Has a Guest Appearance with @TheJayRoy on New YouTube Show “Reality Rehab”

This spring I wrote a series of articles about Big Brother Canada.  My own personal experiment to see if I could elevate the discussion surrounding the social experiment that is the very popular long-running international series.  Now that the American version of the show is running I was contacted and asked to be a guest on a new YouTube show called Reality Rehab by Get Real LOL where I got to talk with BB17’s Jason Roy.

If you’re interested in hearing what it’s really like being on this kind of reality competition show, or just want some gossip about the current season, check it out.
