You’d have to be living under a rock to be unaware of Wikileaks and Julian Assange these days. No matter how you feel about that situation it’s certainly a huge deal. So naturally there’s been a movie made which now has a trailer.

The trailer makes this look like it might be some hero worship and while that’s not necessarily a bad thing, a good movie can certainly be made of that, I do hope it’s a little more balanced than I expect it to be.

Either way, Benedict Cumberbatch continues his domination of this years cinema going schedule with what is likely another great performance and he’s surrounded by a cast of well known faces and directed by Bill Condon who also has a pretty good track record, Twilight notwithstanding.

The Fifth Estate will be in theatres on 18th October.
