Recap & Review: ‘WandaVision’ Series Finale, in which our heroes stories are resolved. Mostly.

This week WandaVision comes to a close with a nearly hour-long episode, fittingly titled “The Series Finale”. This episode will bring the story to a close (mostly, this is Marvel we’re talking about), but is it successful? There’s only one way to find out.

Heads up, I wrote the recap a little differently this week, with a section dedicated to each character. It was definitely easier to write, and I hope it’s easier to read.

Recap & Review: ‘WandaVision’ Episode 1: 1950s sitcoms are a perfect vehicle for awkwardness

Here we are, folks! Today and for the next 7 weeks, I’ll be recapping WandaVision, the latest entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the first entry to be a mini-series on Disney+. As a lifelong Marvel fan, and fan of Paul Bettany and Matt Shakman I have been very much looking forward to this series, so let’s not waste any more time and dive right in!

Review: ‘WandaVision’ is delightfully weird and intriguing

At the end of Avengers: Endgame the entire Marvel universe had been shattered and re-assembled. Half the universe was wiped from existence and brought back five years later. A few casualties stuck, one of whom was Paul Bettany’s Vision, the android created by a combination of The Avengers, their enemy Ultron, and the power of one of the infinity stones.

WandaVision is the first new entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in over a year. The first new entry to be a TV series features the return of Vision and his paramour Wanda Maximoff to a world that looks a lot like a TV sitcom. It’s weird, and it’s delightful.

Let’s Take A Closer Look at the ‘WandaVision’ trailer (With 60 HD Captures)

The first of the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series is finally on it’s way! WandaVision will premiere on Disney+ in December and the first trailer came out yesterday.

Mordecai Trailer: Paul Bettany’s Jock Strapp

A first trailer for the film Mortdecai has been released in which Johnny Depp has a quirky moustache, Olivia Munn is sexy and Gwyneth Paltrow is English.  Also Paul Bettany is a manservant named Jock Strapp.  The movie is an adaptation of a series of 1970’s comic thriller novels by Kyril Bonfiglioli.

Directed by David Koepp (Ghost Town, Premium Rush) set for a February 2015 release.

Review: Transcendence

Transcendence Johnny Depp

Transcendence is the directorial debut of Wall Pfister, a great cinematographer who has worked with many great directors but who is probably best known for working with Christopher Nolan on every one of his films. He’s been nominated for Academy Awards four times: 2005, 2006, 2008, and a win in 2010 for _Inception_. I’m telling you all this because I think Wally Pfister is a great cinematographer who has done great work on great movies. The problem is that these facts don’t seem have translated into him being a great director.
