Remember when Robert Downey Jr. did smaller, more character centric movies? So do I! And he’s made a new one!
Downey [tweeted the trailer yesterday](https://twitter.com/RobertDowneyJr/status/479768140935483392). I have mixed feelings about it (it _looks_ slightly predictable) but given the cast I’m going to remain optimistic. Predictable movies can be great if everything else is in place, and both Downey and Duvall are great actors, so it seems like at least two of the right things are in place.
The Judge comes out 10th October so I’m sure we’ll get at least one more trailer before then and maybe a better look at the performances.
Downey also [tweeted the poster](https://twitter.com/RobertDowneyJr/status/479794012778274817):
