Pacific Rim’s release date is right around the corner and today we get a fourth, and likely final trailer before 12 July rolls around. Let’s watch!

This might be the most effective trailer yet if you ask me. We already know the big action sequences are going to be incredible, but Idris Elba’s speech gives what we know of the story some weight without actually telling us much of the story. _”At the edge of our hope, at the end of our time”_, the monsters are winning and this might be a last stand.

I’d be surprised if this speech wasn’t immediately before a third act massive battle which is slightly worrisome if that’s the case because that means the story might be predictable, however this is Guillermo del Toro we’re talking about, even when his plots are full of cliches they manage to be amazing.
