But that’s because it’s clearly for the children.
[TurtleReveal.com](http://www.turtlereveal.com) had a social media event type thing over the weekend to spur twitter engagement before releasing these posters and the trailer.
So a few thoughts here: this is clearly for the children. Between the wacky gadgets and the wacky dialogue and the big colourful action I’m not really sure there’s anything aimed at me, a movie going male in his thirties, at all. That doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed to be bad or anything but to be honest I don’t really have high hopes that it’s going to be good, either.
Also, William Fichtner _isn’t_ Shredder? Everything we’ve heard so far has said that he is. This trailer makes it look like he’s in control of, or at least involved with, Shredder but not actually Shredder himself. Best guess? He becomes Shredder at the end of the story just in time for the big boss fight.
Here are the new character posters which give us a good look at the characters. Again with the gadgets and whatnot for the kids. I’m not actually opposed to the face redesigns really, or at least not in particular.
