Not a lot of surprises here. Nice to see Lupita Nyong’o get some recognition for her work in _12 Years a Slave_, she really is amazing in that film and it feels like that film isn’t really getting the attention everyone thought it would (case in point, Matthew McConaughey has now won twice over Chiwetel Ejiofor).

_American Hustle_ won and while I still don’t think it was the best film of the year? It is filled with great performances.

Also, _Lone Survivor_ for best stunt ensemble? Yeah, there’s basically no other choice in that category.

Again, few surprises. Bryan Cranston continues on his Walter White farewell tour. Not undeserved but I feel like Kevin Spacey is really being passed over. Peter Dinklage too.

_The Big Bang Theory_ didn’t win which is good because that show isn’t good.

Michael Douglas continues his streak. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: he should be up for an Oscar.
