In “_You’ve got to be kidding me_” news, _Olympus Has Fallen_ is getting a sequel. You remember, the [shittier of the two “Die Hard in the White House” movies that came out this year](https://awesomefriday.ca/2013/03/matt-watches-bad-movies-olympus-has-fallen/).
I get why this is happening. Olympus Has Fallen didn’t gross as much as White House Down, however it had a smaller budget so it made more at the end of the day. On the upside it was also so hilariously bad that it was almost good, so here’s hoping they go for that again.
This time around President Aaron Eckhart will be in London for the funeral of a British Prime Minister when terrorists strike and Gerard Butler will be there to kill them all with well placed bullets to the face. Probably speaking The President will too.

> EXCLUSIVE: Nu Image will kick off talks on what is likely to become one of the must-haves of the market as Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman prepare to reprise their roles from the original action smash.
> Millennium Films is producing and financing London Has Fallen and Alan Siegel and Gerard Butler’s G-Base will also produce. Focus Features is likely to distribute in the US under the auspices of incoming CEO Peter Schlessel, whose FilmDistrict released the original last March.
> Shooting is scheduled to begin in London on May 5 2014 on the story of a plot to strike the city during the funeral of the British Prime Minister. Only the President Of The United States, his secret service head and an English MI6 agent can save the day. Angela Bassett and Radha Mitchell also star.
I can’t tell if London Has Fallen is a good title, but either way count my vote for _Olympus Has Fallen: With a Vengeance_”.
