We’ve been wondering for a while and now it’s been confirmed: Bradley Cooper is Rocket Raccoon! Women of the world rejoice! I mean, not really because it’s a CGI raccoon, but still. He’s likely going to be the breakout character of the movie.

Cooper is a good actor so here’s hoping he’s able to bring something special to the role. Rocket Raccoon really will be the breakout unless they screw something up pretty royally, however with James Gunn at the helm and Cooper bringing his A-Game to the voice work he could end up being something truly special.

Guardians of the Galaxy is scheduled for 1st August 2014 and I, for one, can’t wait to see it.
