Brad Pitt starring tank warfare movie gets it’s first poster and it’s kind of amazing.
This comes to us via Facebook:
This is probably the most striking poster I’ve seen all year. It’s stark, and simple, and implies the toll that war has on a soldier.
Brad Pitt stars along with Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Peña as a tank crew alone behind the lines in WWII. Pitt is the big name but everyone else involved is noteworthy also. The Beef is all over the place, Michael Peña is one of those guys just waiting to be a household name, Jon Bernthal is big on TV, and Logan Lerman is in that transition period from kid star to adult.
Ayer has written or directed all kinds of good films as well so there’s plenty of reason to be looking forward to 18th November.
Here’s the official plot outline.
April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
