Greetings programs! You’re reading this correctly, a second episode this week! I was given access to the entire first season of the new HBO series The Last of Us, an adaptation of the PlayStation video game franchise of the same name. Joining me to speak about it is my friend Shaurya Chawla, who has not only seen the whole series but, unlike me, has played the game.

In this episode, we will give some brief thoughts on the whole of season one, followed by a more in-depth discussion of the premiere episode of the series, which has just finished airing on HBO. We keep the first half spoiler free, but there are some details in the back half.

Review: ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ is totally fine

Terminator: Dark Fate

James Camerons 1984 film _The Terminator_ and 1991 follow up _Terminator 2: Judgement Day_ are both stone-cold classics. It’s not surprising that Hollywood has been making sequels in this franchise for the last two decades. It is surprising that most of them are …. we’ll say “of varying quality.”

Where those have failed, Terminator: Dark Fate actually kind of succeeds. It takes familiar elements from the original two, remixes them with some social commentary, and brings in all the legacy characters to pass the torch to a whole new cast.

Imagine The Force Awakens but for Terminator.
