Canadian horror lovers take note: The annual Blood in the Snow horror film festival is coming up from October 28th to November 7th, and I will be covering the films!
This year thanks to the ongoing global plague the festival has moved to a new format, but rather than moving to an online platform as Fantasia or Vancouver International Film Festival did, Blood in the Snow has entered into a partnership with Canadian premium movie channel SuperChannel.
The films and collections will be broadcast each night on SuperChannel for each of the 11 days of the festival. If you don’t have SuperChannel you can subscribe through your cable provider, Amazon Prime, or AppleTV. You didn’t hear it from me, but they even have a 7-day trial.
You will be able to follow all of our coverage of the festival using the BitS 2020 tag here on Awesome Friday! For a full listing of the 10 features and 4 short film programs, head over to the Blood in the Snow website.
Reviews of the films we’re able to cover will be going up approximately a week before they air so that you have plenty of time to plan your viewing.
As always, if you are enjoying the site and all the news, reviews, and interviews I’ve been striving to bring you, please considering becoming a patron (support starts at just 2$/month) or buying a Ko-Fi (as much or as little as you’d like to spend) to help me keep doing it.
