You know how awesome Star-lord’s ship in _Guardians of the Galaxy_ is? Here’s a video tour of the set with Chris Pratt. Spoiler alert: it’s totally awesome.

I love how practical almost everything on that set is. It looks like his touchscreen interface is an effete but all the readouts in the cockpit being practical? Awesome. All the controls being levers and switches and buttons? Also awesome. As a guy who grew up loving _Star Trek: The Next Generation_ I’m tired of boring flat panels with digital effects for spacecraft controls.

Also, in case you weren’t aware, the Milano is named after Star-lord’s childhood crush: Alyssa Milano. The movie is just laden with pop culture references and I love it. Guardians of the Galaxy is in theatres now and you should totally go see it.
