A whole slew of new posters have been released for _The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug_. Seven are character posters mostly for new and more heavily featured characters in the second film plus an new theatrical poster!

If nothing else these posters do a pretty bang up job of letting us know just how huge and impressive the cast for this movie, er, _these movies_, really is. They;re a bit overly photoshopped if you ask me but that’s sort of the look they’re going for isn’t it?

_The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug_ is released on 13th December so expect the marketing to really ramp up in the coming weeks.
