First Trailer – The Theory of Everything

Eddie Redmayne & Felicity Jones star as Stephen Hawking and his wife Jane and how they met in University.  Until this moment I hadn’t heard about this movie, or known much about Hawking’s life before the Hawking we all think of today.  It’s being released in the US on November 7th.  I’m putting it at a dark horse Oscar contender for best actor.

Also starring David Thewlis (Harry Potter), Emily Watson (Punch-Drunk Love), Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire) & Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones).

Watch This: Marvel’s Comic Con Sizzle Reel Looking Back At Phase 1 + 2

Marvel

Marvel’s panel in Hall H at Comic Con is a big deal every year, and every year Marvel starts the show with a video presentation. This year it was a look back at all the movies they’ve made so far which amounts to a pretty awesome trailer for their entire grand experiment and a nice passing of the torch to _Guardians of the Galaxy_. And now it’s online so let’s watch!

Kingdom – Coming This Fall

The first trailer for Kingdom (previously Navy St.) is here, and it delivers.  So much so that I can ignore the fact that it uses this year’s trailer music of choice “Jungle” by X Ambassadors, Jamie N Commons.  No word yet on when (or if) it will be airing in Canada, as it’s being produced specifically for DIRECTV.  I’m  predicting it’s a massive hit for Jonathan Tucker & Matt Lauria.  Fingers crossed that it finds its way North.

New ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Trailer Features New Ninja Rap! Also See The New Poster

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

There’s a new TV spot for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and it’s the first spot for this movie that makes me think I might like to see it! More importantly it features a new ninja rap. Unfortunately it’s not by Vanilla Ice like it was in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 back in the 1990s but it’s a nice little callback whether they meant it to be or not. Who knows maybe this song will embody the style of the 2010s in the same way Ninja Rap did the early 1990s?

Alan Turning Biopic ‘The Imitation Game’ Gets Two Trailers, Lots of Cumberbatch

Benedict Cumberbatch / The Imitation Game

Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Alan Turing, the father of modern computing. A period piece featuring a great cast and a protagonist who struggles against adversity (more on that in a moment) during World War 2? I think I smell an Oscar contender.

We have not one but two trailers after the jump, one from Weinstein Company in the US and one from Studio Canal in the UK.

Horns Teaser Trailer + Poster: Daniel Radcliffe Is A Bad Guy Maybe

Daniel Radcliffe / Horns

I really like Daniel Radcliffe because he refuses to be pigeonholed as Harry Potter for the rest of this life and keeps taking new roles in new genres, testing his limits and skill as an actor. Put succinctly: I don’t think we’re going to be rid of him any time soon. Horns is one of his new different weird projects in which he plays a guy who grows a pair of horns and is suspected of committing a grisly murder. Let’s watch!
