Let’s Take A Closer Look at the ‘WandaVision’ trailer (With 60 HD Captures)

The first of the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series is finally on it’s way! WandaVision will premiere on Disney+ in December and the first trailer came out yesterday.

It’s a short trailer but there is a lot to look at, so let’s take a closer look.

Note: Due to the high number of images in this post it has been broken up into two pages. you can find navigation links at the bottom of each page.

The Marvel Studios logo looks pretty good filtered through an old timer TV screen.

It’s clear from the get-go that Wanda and Vision are trapped in some sort of 1950s TV fantasy world, and the aesthetic is pretty spot on. For those of you who watched a lot of Bewitched in reruns when you were a kid, this should look incredibly familiar.

See what I mean, as she changes his face to fit in better in the “neighbourhood”.

Here’s our first look at Kathryn Hahn who is credited, as far as I can tell, only as “nosy neighbour”. I’m sure the role with be more significant than that, but Marvel is pretty good at keeping reveals under wraps so we’ll just have to wait and see.

There’s a continuing Bewitched vibe to the 50s world.

This whole exchange with Debra Jo Rupp and Fred Melamed over for dinner grilling them on their backstory is a fantastic piece of visual storytelling. Their faces going from the happy facade to dread is so well done.
