There’s a shiny new full trailer for _Ant-Man_ and it looks really good!

Fair warning, this trailer feels like it gives away from plot details. That being said so do most Marvel trailers and they’ve basically all been pretty misleading about what the real story is. You call. Don’t say I never warned you.

You can really see the bones of the Edgar Wright script here but it doesn’t feel like an Edgar Wright movie. You know what though? That’s perfectly ok. Peyton Reed is a good director with great comedic sensibilities and this trailer is pretty damn funny (as I hope the rest of the movie is). It helps that Paul Rudd is pretty much perfect for delivering the lines he’s given and that’s he’s surrounded by other great actors, too.

Ant-Man is the end of Phase 2 of Marvel’s grand experiment, not the start of Phase 3 (that’s _Captain America: Civil War_ next year) so it’ll be interesting to see how it ties into the overreaching storyline set up by _Avengers: Age of Ultron_ next month.

Ant-Man is out 17th July and I, for one, am excited.
