The Cornetto Trilogy is over but that doesn’t mean Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg will never work together again. Hell the Cornetto Trilogy wasn’t even the first time they worked together (If you haven’t seen _Spaced_ then I can’t, as the kids say these days, _even_).
During an interview with BBC6 Pegg was quoted as saying:
> When we said the trilogy was over, it was because that group of films was over. They’re all kind of related with each other and deal with a specific idea. There’s a criteria to those films.
> The next thing we do won’t do that, it will just be something else. It will happen. We made three films in ten years and hopefully in the next decade we’ll make another three.
So there you have it. Great people who work great together will do more great work. Hard to imagine when since Pegg has a boat load of movies in the pipe and so does Wright but I, for one, can’t wait for them to do more great work together.
Because it’s great. In case that wasn’t clear.
