David Fincher’s new movie looks better and better.

A great director telling a story featuring a whole bunch of great actors with a mystery that I pretty much need to see resolved at this point basically guarantees that I’ll be there when this movie comes out. It helps that I really like Fincher’s style as a director and that I think this kind of material is well suited to it too.

Also, I still really like Ben Affleck playing the guy everyone thinks is guilty simply because when he appears on camera he doesn’t look sad enough.

Also also, those of you who’ve read the book should know the ending is apparently changed. I haven’t read the book so I’ve no idea what that means, but there is it.

Gone Girl is out 3rd October.
