The last surprise of the E3 Ubisoft conference was when big boss Yves Guillemot announced, Columbo style, that he had just one more game. The final trailer was for the new version of *Rainbow Six*, now subtitled *Siege* instead of *Patriots*. Let’s watch!

The trailer showed gameplay footage of the asymmetrical multiplayer, with two teams fighting over a hostage:

Apparently the focus is on multiplayer but the systems are currently being focussed into a single player mode. It does look very good, and hearkens back to a style of gameplay that’s been missing for a while. Hopefully it’ll bring the goods when it’s released in 2015.
