You can make a good movie out of anything. Making a trailer for a movie is another matter entirely.

The [teaser trailer](https://awesomefriday.ca/2013/11/maleficent-teaser-you-should-be-afraid/) for this movie made me want to at least check it out. This trailer makes it look like a damn train wreck, akin to the likes of _Jack the Giant Slayer_. Sure the effects look like they might be pretty but what little they show of the actual actors doesn’t bode well, and what little they do show is just Angeline Jolie dialling the cheese up to 11.

Ugh.

I guess we’ll find out if Sharlto Copely has any lines on 30th May.
