Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

The final film in the Disney Era Star Wars Trilogy, which promises to bring to a conclusion the story started in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi is coming this December and this week Lucasfilm finally released a full-blown trailer for it.

Since we’re all bunch of nerds around here I figured it might be neat to take a closer look at that trailer, and in the process, I grabbed more than sixty high-definition stills.

Fifty Glorious Photos From The Making Of Return Of The Jedi

I love *Return Of The Jedi*. It’s become a bit of a whipping boy for the original trilogy, with many criticsising the Ewoks as the first grand Lucas mistake of “playing to the kids” in what would become a franchise tradition. However, remember these are the cute furry bears who were about to char-broil Han and Luke alive – presumably to eat them, because spitroasted meat is awesome in any galaxy – and could take down an armoured Imperial Stormtrooper with just rocks and sticks. Adorable little barbarians.

The New Republic: Star Wars Episode VII Cast In Focus

Bad Robot set the internet on fire this morning with a photo showing all the cast members of *Star Wars Episode VII* during their first readthrough at Pinewood studios. There’s all the old cast – Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker – mixed with a healthy selection of new, up-and-coming names and established faces.
