Also, did you know Iron Man is in this movie? Iron Man is in this movie. Let’s take a look!
First up, two for the man himself.
These posters are a pretty big improvement over the last bunch, going back to just showing Spider-Man doing his Spider-Man thing. I particularly like the web slinging on. If I were a college student that’d be the one that ended up on my wall. Iron Man is still there but he’s just in the background letting you know “hey, this movie takes place in the MCU.”
Also out is this triptych of posters that form the image at the top of this post:
Vulture has a big gun, Spider-Man is up in his grill, and Iron Man is right there in the thick of it. Seems like maybe Iron Man is going to be an important part of this movie, right? Just maybe?
In all seriousness these posters are a fair sight better than the last bunch but it seems maybe a little too clear that Iron Man is around in the movie. Based on the super new suit and the shots in the trailer of Spider-man wearing his homemade suit, how much do you want to bet that the movie starts with Spider-Man desperately trying to win Tony Stark’s approval and ends with him realizing that he doesn’t need it or the high-tech gadgets to be a hero. Just a thought.
Spider-Man: Homecoming will be in theatres on 7th July, and in case you weren’t aware Iron-Man is a supporting character in the movie.
