‘Logan Lucky’ Trailer: Steven Soderbergh’s latest looks like a blast.

Stephen Soderbergh was retired but now he’s un-retired and he’s made a new heist movie with Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Riley Keough, and Daniel Craig. Let’s take a look.

First off let me just say that I am so very happy that Steven Soderbergh is un-retired. Second off, holy shit this look good. Soderbergh has called this an [anti-glam **Ocean’s Eleven**](http://ew.com/movies/2017/04/21/logan-lucky-first-look-steven-soderbergh/) and that seems a pretty apt description for a bunch of rednecks robbing a nascar race.

Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, and Riley Keough as the titular Logan siblings, and they all look great. There’s a murderers row of talent in the (presumably) supporting cast, too.

But the real news here is that it looks like Daniel Craig is going to run away with this thing. He’s great actor, but I can’t recall ever seeing him do anything quite like this. He’s operating on a different level here and seems like he’s having a blast doing it. Plus, the “introducing” credit for him is kinda of amazing in and of itself.

**Logan Lucky** is out August 18th. Here’s the official synopsis.

> Trying to reverse a family curse, brothers Jimmy (Channing Tatum) and Clyde Logan (Adam Driver) set out to execute an elaborate robbery during the legendary Coca-Cola 600 race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The production shot at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the actual NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 and the Bank of America 500, as well as at Atlanta Motor Speedway. In a fun twist, six NASCAR stars pop up in non-driver cameo roles in the film.
