There’s a movie about The Most Dangerous Rap Group coming and casting is well underway.

[THR has the scoop](http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/nwa-biopic-casts-dr-dre-712055) on the casting so far:

O’Shea Jackson, Ice Cube’s Son, is playing Ice Cube.

Marcus Callender, who has done a bunch of TV work, is playing Dr. Dre.

Jason Mitchell, Who I have never heard of, is playing Easy E.

Also interesting, apparently at least one sequence has been shot already to qualify for a California tax credit. So the film is definitely happening.

_Straight Outta Compton_ is directed by F. Gary Gray and doesn’t have an official release date as yet.
