Netflix to Produce Two New Trailer Park Boys Seasons

Trailer Park Boys

Love ’em or hate ’em, this is a thing that’s happening.

[CBC](http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/trailer-park-boys-to-debut-new-seasons-on-netflix-1.2561532):

> Ricky, Julian, Bubbles and the rest of the trailer park are heading to Netflix later this year in all new Trailer Park Boys episodes exclusive to the video streaming site.

> Since the Gemini-winning TV show’s debut in 2001, Trailer Park Boys has become a fixture of the Canadian comedy scene. The series centres on the ridiculous illicit activities and antics of three petty crooks — tailed by a documentary crew — as they go about their lives in a quirky mobile home community known as Sunnyvale.

> Although some of the past seasons of the show are already available on Netflix, the streaming site announced Wednesday that all seven seasons will now be available to all domestic and international subscribers.

> Ten new season eight episodes will be available later this year. New season nine episodes will follow after that.

I’m not personally a fan of the Trailer Park Boys but it’s cool to see Netflix producing content from Canada. Netflix is really ramping up production of shows and if they’re expanding up here who knows what else they might revive? Or start? Or adapt?

Things could get very interesting.
