If you haven’t seen 2011’s _The Raid: Redemption_ and you like martial arts films then you should probably go watch it _right now_ because there is a sequel on the way and it looks even more balls to the wall insane than the first one.

Director Gareth Evans says you should watch this trailer _LOUD_ and I’m inclined to agree.

_The Raid: Redemption_ has an interesting distinction in that it’s one of very few martial arts films I can remember lately that actually went for the R rating. People are killed left right and centre and in all kinds of creative and interesting ways. It’s nuts and it’s fun to watch. _The Raid 2: Berendal_ looks like it’s going to keep that up and then some.

There’s no set release date just yet, just a vague “2014”. Hopefully sooner than later!
